Westfield – In the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2019, Westfield Foundation distributed $103,260 in grants to 12 different agencies: Caring Contact, Cranford First Aid Squad, Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey, Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Alzheimer’s New Jersey, Family Promise Union County, Two Hundred Club of Union County, Center for Hope Hospice, Youth & Family Counseling Services of New Jersey, YWCA Union County, NJ Workshop for the Arts and the Town of Westfield. Projects these grants will assist include the updating and purchasing of new equipment, scholarships, public artwork, a music production studio, support of programs for youth and caretakers and workshops for long-term success.
The diversity of grant recipients is a testament to the fact that the Foundation’s grants impact many lives. The foundation focuses on four sectors: Arts, Education, Health and Social Services. Grants from the Foundation help individuals and agencies launch promising civic projects, so they can become sustainable agencies that meet a specific community need.
This winter, Westfield Foundation is holding their annual fundraising appeal. The Foundation has added the capability of making a secure donation, via their website, for the first time. It’s as easy as a click to donate and help your neighbors in need. Click here to make a donation now.
The Foundation holds only one annual fundraising campaign per year. If you wish to donate by check, to the foundation’s current annual appeal, donations may also be sent to: Westfield Foundation, PO Box 2295, Westfield, NJ 07091.
