Foundation Announces 2nd Q Grants for 2021

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, the Westfield Foundation distributed $68,544.00 in grants to 10 different agencies: CancerCare Inc., CASA of Union County, Caring Contact, Family Promise, Greater Somerset County YMCA, More Than Bootstraps, Our House Foundation, Patriots’ Path Council – Boy Scouts, Presbyterian Church – Agape Community Kitchen, and the Westfield Service League.

These funds will be used for such items as face masks for summer day campers, supplemental groceries for families in need, replacement of inoperable windows, training for family advocates re substance abuse, and a healthy food initiative to address food insufficiency.

The Foundation has awarded over $8M in grant money since 1975.  The diversity of grant recipients is a testament to the fact that the Foundation’s grants impact many lives.  The foundation focuses on four sectors: Arts, Education, Health and Social Services.  Grants from the Foundation help individuals and agencies launch promising civic projects, so they can become sustainable agencies that meet a specific community need.

We Have Moved Offices!

The Westfield Foundation is moving after more than 30 years at their current location at the Westfield train station. 

As of March 29, our new offices will be located at: 940 South Ave. W, Unit #C, Westfield, NJ 07090.  The new offices are located on the side of the building, with free parking available.
